Senior Design Engineer - Substation/Distribution

The Australian rail market is booming and the NSW Govt. is committed to the further growth of its rail infrastructure. Our client is one of NSW's largest employers, with over 15,000 staff, 4,000. The company spends $482 million a year maintaining and replacing this infrastructure, which is valued at over $11 billion. Our client who is a Govt. Authority company based in Australia are seeking to recruit a Senior Engineer Distribution.
Primary Purpose: You will provide authoritative expert engineering innovation, planning, advice and design, relating to design of electrical substations, and distribution infrastructure, and associated materials.
Your duties will include but not limited to: Reviewing and developing of standards related to design of electrical substations, and distribution infrastructure. Assisting in the development of the electrical substations, and distribution infrastructure design process. Participating in research relating to new materials technology.
