International Financial Services institution are currently recruiting for a Legal Counsel.
Resposibilities will include:
- To provide general support on a wide range of legal issues arising primarily from business banking
- To prepare and negotiate transaction documentation
- To identify and manage legal risk liaising directly with the business as appropriate
- To assist in advising and educating the business on relevant legal issues
- To assist in the updating of standard documentation
- To instruct external counsel and monitor transactions
- To assist with the ongoing development of the business banking web site
- To review and monitor marketing material issued to business banking customers
- To develop the skills of the existing legal team
